Really great shot Andy! It may look like it’s hiding from you but I can assure that in front of it is wide open clearing. Birds with large wings never ever go into tight places. They always have to have a “runway” in front of them as It takes a few seconds to get off the ground.

It has become a regular out of the wind resting/fishing spot. a wide open flight out up the river.
