Those swans are mean buggers! I hope the Canada Goose learned its lesson. I know I did – I was merely looking at the pair of swans and next thing the male climbed up the Creek banks and came after me. It was icy and snowy, so if I had not tossed it some peanuts to distract it, who knows how that story would have ended?
It’s funny in a way – very possessive! Our first goslings have arrived and I was hissed at yesterday though I gave the nine babies and both sets of parents wide berth. They own the Park you know!
The wing span is enormous! Wow, I’d be scared if a swan flapped its wing like that in front of me.
Great photos.

Having had a swan come after me once I’d get out of Dodge if I were that Canada Goose!
