On the South Devon coast is a small smugglers’ cove with a shingle beach nestled beneath Beer head. A small beach-launched fishing fleet operates and sells fresh fish in a small shop just above the high water mark.

sorry Andy,I miss the reference to not drinking beer here?

Because it’s a place and not a beverage. Beer Head or Beer beach is a location and not something you drink. Now, if there is a beach ban on alcohol — like where I live — then you certainly can’t drink beer on Beer beach.

Oh,…right, thanks!
I assume there is a alcohol ban at Beer’s Head………which would be ironic?

I’d love to buy fresh fish there and soak in the sun on one of those chairs!
