Very hot here this week and said to be even hotter next week. We took some time on Friday to get onto the beach to get my feet cooled in the water. This Little Egret was already in the water doing the same and catching lunch.

Smile you are on camera!
The Canada Geese goslings have grown up so much over the last few weeks. Three families despite the odds have raised all their little ones into “teenagers”.
I placed my small action camera {Olympus Tough} on a stool and let it capture the geese coming over for a feed. Video and stills from the film. Some of these portraits have got to make you smile.

Early Saturday evening and a few hours down on the beach enjoying the fresh air and watching windsurfers and kitesurfers.
While sitting on the beach two of the local Mute Swans came out of the water to say hello so I popped back to the van to get some bird seed and my small underwater camera.
T4C ringed bird I have known this bird for several years. The unringed bird with him took a liking to my arm!
