We’ve come full circle. The earliest vehicles were powered by steam, and later electricity. Steam-powered engines outsold gas combustible until the 1900’s.
It was great technology — clean and efficient — but with shortcomings like speed and distance. There are similar drawbacks to electric cars today. Imagine the world in 2023 if they had developed the old technology back in 1923.
