Is the Little Grebe full grown? It looks like just a chick. Cute bird.

Yes Peggy a fully grown bird – they are very small (Length:25-29cm Weight:100-140g) think this one is a female the males in summer go a nice chestnut brown, so one later which was starting to colour up.
