Today the weather forecasters say it is the hottest day of the year in the UK.
This afternoon we went to the sea I had to have a swim to cool off.
As the tide went out I spent a hour watching an Egret fishing on the beach.

Good luck with this record heat wave. We have been hearing about the UK and Spain on our newscasts. We have had the extreme heat a week or so ago – today is a stormy day with deluges of rain, then a very hot week. It seems the weather has forgotten what “normal” is anymore.
