Spotted this Marsh Tit today in the New Forest with a deformed/damaged lower bill. Feeding well and appeared to be living well despite the disability,



now that’s something you don’t see every day. It has adapted obviously.

only noticed the event on downloading the pictures seems to stay around the public feeding area.

Hard to imagine the way, it manages it’s food, but fine, that it works.

I have been seeing a lot of avian pox damaged beaks lately but this looks congenital. Poor beauty.
