Yesterday we spent time at Titchfield Haven around one of the small ponds looking for Damselflies and Dragonflies.
With a warm morning, there were many to see.
Four-spotted chaser dragonflies out in large numbers.

Female blue form Emperor dragonfly “tail dipping” – egg laying.

Azure damselfly mating.

You got lots of close-ups Andy. The first one head-on looks like a bi-plane. 🙂

I thought that Linda I use a close focus long lens for these pictures.

I didn’t realize this was a macro lens – I should have realized that … you are doing the videos too with a macros lens? I only use “automatic” … I have to learn how to manually take photos, but that is for down the road.

Have been taking more videos. The issue i get is the sound – always a car or someone talking a dog barking that spoils the sounds of nature.

Yes, I have not really taken video (lots for me to learn), but I hate when a dog or a car spooks the waterfowl and they all take off and ruins the experience, not to mention the photo.
