As I was in Southampton this morning I just had to get another look for the Ring-necked Parakeets in one of the city parks.

All these years, I have never been able to get a picture of the wild parrots. They perch in very high trees and don’t stay long. They’re always on the fly. I suspect they remember their days of captivity.

This pair are in a fairly small park which they return too and have a favourite tree with a perch not to high up.
