Thanks Wayne I was pleased to find these yesterday as the last 2 trips out had been a
no show! The rut is on so it was good to see hear them as well as see them. Poaching is an issue on farmland around the UK, I have not seen any reports in the New Forest of poaching but the numbers of Fallow Deer are maintained at about 1300.

Very fruitful walk in the woods for you Andy. The deer are beautiful and that is an impressive set of antlers on the buck. The Kestrel has the same coloring in its plumage as the deer. I like how it glances over its shoulder at you.
